I’m a wife, entrepreneur, and mother to two young adults, we have two dogs and a cat, I guess you could say its a busy household. I’ve discovered through the years that I’m a foodie at heart but, like most of us, I don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen every day, but making sure that we eat well is a priority. So, I understand the difficulties and challenges when it comes to food and families.
I’m active and enjoy spending as much time as I can outside whether it be winter or summer. Music plays an important role in my life, especially at the end of the day, when I’m tired. If it’s my day to cook, I get in the kitchen put on my playlist and get cooking!
I love the relationships I create with my clients, helping them understand our amazing connection with the food we eat. We are so much more than we realize and we are all different, so there is no one size fits all. It’s about helping my clients piece together their health puzzle so that things make sense to them, this is why I practice.

John received his Diploma in Massage Therapy from Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario in 2009. Having registered as a Massage Therapist a short time later, he began his career in his home town of Petawawa.
Wishing to expand his horizons, John soon determined that Ottawa was where he wanted to be.
“Even before graduation, I knew I wanted to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. Together, we can benefit from each-other’s experience and expertise, and that, of course, leads to better care for all of our clients and patients.”
“I’m often asked why I became an RMT. The simplest answer I can give is that I realized I could use expertise, a bit of time, and effort to help anyone feel better. The somewhat less simple answer comes from a personal history of eye strain, tension headaches, and physical activity. Our bodies do a lot for us each and every day, and for the most part our muscles and joints do everything we ask without question. It’s when they begin to complain that I wanted to be an answer. It is my contention that a little relief goes a long way. Tension headaches, joint pain, postural dysfunction caused by daily work and home positional habits; Massage can help. My goal is for you to walk out of this clinic feeling relaxation where before you felt tension, relief where you felt pain, and freedom where you only felt limitations.”
John specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point Therapy for people of all ages.
- Headaches/Referred Pain caused by Trigger Points (muscle knots)
- Postural Muscle Tension (sitting, standing, walking, running) incl. muscle spasm)
- Injury Rehabilitation in conjunction with Physiotherapy and Osteopathy
- Muscle Relaxation as an aid for continued Exercise and Exertion
John’s techniques are based on Swedish massage.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body’s mechanics. Growing up, I was not just intrigued by science but also deeply moved by the possibility of alleviating pain and helping people feel their best. This curiosity laid the foundation for my future journey as a physiotherapist.
Hailing from Venezuela, my experience spans over 13 enriching years, in which I’ve sharpened my understanding of the human body and nurtured my empathetic approach to patient care. My commitment to helping a person feel whole or overcome a health challenge is stronger than ever.
Driven by the need to always give the best to my patients, I pursued an M.Sc in Human Kinetics specializing in Biomechanics at the University of Ottawa and I have also done studies in Global Postural Re-education, Neuro-musculoskeletal Manual Therapy, Myofascial Induction, Craniosacral Therapy and Functional Dry Needling, among others
